Mental health outpatient services

Making sure you get the right support is critical. In your initial meeting, our intake manager will assess whether New Narrative is the best fit for your needs. Based on your assessment, we’ll set you up with a team that may include a clinician, case manager, peer, psychiatrist, or nurse. With your permission, we’ll include your medical, addictions, legal, or other social services teams. We can also connect you with other community resources, groups, and providers that support your mental health plan and goals.

Mental health residential services

You and your team will determine whether treatment housing is right for you. Licensed by the state of Oregon and staffed 24 hours a day, every day, our temporary treatment housing programs offer more than just a safe place to live. You can do group work, participate in skill-building exercises, practice managing your mental health, and engage in other therapy activities you and your team think are necessary.

Who we serve

  • Mood disorders such as bipolar disorder and major depression
  • Anxiety
  • Phobias
  • Obsessive compulsive disorders

We do not provide outpatient addictions treatment, but we will provide a referral. Our clinicians provide support if you have a co-occurring disorder.

We bill the Oregon Health Plan, and can work with you if you have either OHP Open Card or Healthshare/CareOregon. We accept some managed Medicare plans, but only if you have secondary coverage through the Oregon Health Plan, or are supported by the Washington and Multnomah County General Funds.
